Bucks New University – Students Charity Challenge

Two groups of 1st Year Business Management students from Bucks New University chose the South Bucks Hospice for their ‘Charity Challenge’ assignment. Each group had to hold a fundraising event and raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity and on the final day display how they had done this with an exhibition.

Group 1: Oliver Harris & Simon Baker. This team took up the challenge of walking the route of the London Marathon dressed as smurfs ! They did this in 8 hours on 25th February and collected money in their bucket as they walked, they received various car hoots and cheers from passers- by and many questions asked, especially from tourists !
They also set up a fundraising page for sponsorship and this together with other money raised a total of £283.28, which is fantastic.
