Cherry

Cherry was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) earlier in the year and was referred to The South Bucks Community Hospice by her GP for daycare. Since joining us, she has benefitted from attending weekly yoga sessions and acupuncture.

She also enjoys flower arranging and has formed a strong bond with our volunteer florist. This has helped her from being housebound and isolated to take the opportunity to socialise.

Cherry says: “I live at home on my own and when I don’t have anyone to talk to, it’s easy to be miserable. I love coming to the Hospice and seeing everyone. Yoga also helps me relax and stay calm.”
