Want to find out more or get involved? We are having a Volunteer Drop In session at South Bucks Hospice where you will be able to come and learn more about what we do and find out how you can get involved as a volunteer.

Definition of volunteer - a person who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task, a person who works for an organization without being paid.

The Oxford Dictionary definition of a volunteer does not come close to describing volunteers at South Bucks Hospice. Our volunteers are amazing! They make a real difference to the lives of the people we support in such a positive way. Whether it's greeting you and making you feel welcome when you come to the hospice, helping make the yummy lunches with our cook, tending to our sensory garden to keep it looking lovely or having a cuppa and a chat.

Ideally we are looking for volunteers to help on our Reception desk and in our Bistro/kitchen.

If you can't make it or want to start volunteering sooner rather than later please get in contact with our Volunteer Coordinator. You can phone: 01494 552 764 or email: volunteer@sbhospice.org.uk
