Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences we have to bear. If you would like to support Butterfly House in memory of a loved one we have some resources and guidance to help make it as easy as possible.

Your gesture will enable us to continue to help families throughout the community by providing care, comfort and support to those facing life-limiting illness.

There are several options when it comes to making a collection in memory of a loved one.

  • Collect at the service or through the funeral director, we can provide Gift Aid envelopes to give people a discreet way to contribute on the day
  • Create an in memory collection page online. Get in touch for guidance on how to do this.
  • Encourage people to honour the memory of your loved one with a Tribute Fund. You can then direct people to sign up through this page to do anything from skydiving to running, walking, knitting or anything else in memory of your loved one.

Remember us in your Will

It was only due to a generous gift left in a Will that we were able to build our brand new Community Hospice at Butterfly House.

No matter how big or small your donation, leaving a legacy can help us to make sure that we can continue to provide our services for future generations.

A remarkable way to help us achieve our mission would be to remember The South Bucks Community Hospice in your Will. You can do this by leaving a legacy; a legacy is a gift to a charity in your Will.

Legacies are exempt from inheritance tax and probably the most tax-effective gift you can make to charity. It is a powerful and effective way to support the work of The South Bucks Community Hospice in helping families throughout the community by providing care, comfort and support to those facing life-limiting illness.
