The streets of Marlow will be paved with money on Saturday August 18 when a trail of coins will be laid down in aid of patients with life-limiting conditions.

South Bucks Hospice is calling on the public to ‘make a change with some change’ by donating cash for the charity initiative.

The hospice, based at Butterfly House in High Wycombe, will be taping the coins to the pavement in the High Street from Barclays Bank to Marlow Bar & Grill, a distance of around .2 of a mile.

Ben O’Keefe, Community Fundraiser, said: “We are really excited by this but will need thousands of coins to make this happen. Our volunteers will be out in force on the day.

“We hope the public will join in the fun and help us raise much-needed money and awareness for our patients.” The coins will be laid between 10am and noon on August 18. Anyone who wishes to help by either volunteering or donating spare change, should contact 01494 552761 or email fundraising@sbhospice.org.uk
