Patient Drivers provide a vital lifeline to help people access our life-changing services. You will bring patients from their home to Butterfly House and / or back again in the afternoon.

We currently need volunteers to be available to:

-      bring day patients in to us in the morning

-      take our day patients home in the afternoon

-      or to carry out both journeys

Butterfly House opens Monday to Friday. Patients come to us between 9.00 – 10.00 am and go home between 2.30 – 3.30 pm.

You will need to be a confident driver and help patient feels safe and relaxed on their journeys to and from Butterfly House. You do not need a special vehicle to be one of our Patient Drivers, but we will need to carry out a DBS check (previously CRB).

Join our team of friendly volunteers at Butterfly House, The South Bucks Community Hospice. Every hour that a Volunteer gives helps us achieve our goal of providing local people with life limiting conditions a place to come and receive care, therapies and support.
